Heavy industry means heavy specifications

Aliağa's mix pushes the specification upward. Refinery jetties handle large tankers with correspondingly large mooring loads and strict documentation. Steel works and bulk terminals generate demand for wire rope, chain and lifting gear rather than mooring line alone. The ship recycling yards need heavy pulling wire, chain and shackles used in ways no cargo ship ever uses them.

Selling into that mix means being precise about working load limits and grades. A shackle that is adequate on a container ship deck is not adequate on a beaching pull, and the difference has to be stated on the certificate, not assumed.

What we supply into the Aegean cluster

Aegean orders tend to be larger and less time-critical than Istanbul orders, which means they can be built to specification rather than pulled from the nearest stock.

Delivery and lead time

Aliağa and İzmir are a road run from Tuzla, so scheduled deliveries are routine and we can consolidate a mixed order into one shipment. For made-to-order items — large diameter lines, chain, custom terminations — we quote the manufacturing lead time separately from the transport time so the planning is honest.
